Meet Trishforreal: Editor & Founder.
Hi there! I’m Trishforreal, a woman with many talents. During the day, I work as a lean six sigma professional, but in my free time, I immerse myself in biographies or bio stories. I am a seasoned writer and editor with a passion for providing individuals with a platform to share their stories. I believe my life’s mission is to accurately portray people in a manner that aligns with their personal brand, leaving no room for misrepresentation.
Unabridged! Magazine is my love child. Its concept was born from my desire to have people tell their own stories, the unabridged version. I’ve always connected deeply with biographies and stories that offer more than ephemeral glimpses into people’s lives. I aim to highlight the whole person and to influence how features are represented on the world stage, shaping a more diverse and inclusive narrative.
So, what makes me qualified to lead a magazine? I believe writing is the charge God has given me to effect change. I have been a lifelong learner and remain an avid reader. I have written short biographies for many people. I have invested years in developing my craft and have edited numerous writings. My love for literature led me to undergraduate English Literature and History studies.
My pursuit of knowledge has taken me on a fulfilling journey. I earned my master’s degree in public administration and became a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt through Villanova University. Alongside that, I hold a Project Management Institute (PMI) certification as a Project Management professional.
